Join us on a journey into the world of chess a game where each move shapes the mind. The We The Leaders Foundation invites passionate volunteers to mentor young learners in a program that sharpens intellect, builds discipline, and nurtures leadership through the art of chess
Requirements
Are passionate about chess and youth development
- Believe in the power of strategic thinking and lifelong learning
- Are patient, encouraging, and willing to support peer-led growth
- Can commit time regularly for sessions and learning support
- Have basic or advanced chess knowledge (training support available)
Do’s and Don’ts
Do’s:
- Respect all learners
- Guide students with patience
- Be punctual, encouraging, and prepared for each session
- Be open to learning and sharing ideas
Don’ts:
- Don’t rush the learning
- Do not deviate from your role without informing coordinators
- Refrain from any behavior that disrupts the program or environment
