Step into the world of Silambam—a timeless martial art that blends agility, discipline, and tradition. Through this program, We The Leaders Foundation invites you to embark on a powerful journey of self-mastery, cultural pride, and community upliftment. Volunteering for this initiative is not just about learning techniques—it’s about nurturing a sense of purpose, promoting indigenous practices, and empowering young minds through structured physical training

Requirements

To volunteer with us, we’re looking for individuals who:

  • Are enthusiastic about traditional martial arts and Indian heritage.
  • Are committed to fitness, discipline, and personal growth.
  • Are open to training with peers and supporting group learning.
  • Can dedicate time consistently for sessions and event duties.
  • May have prior martial arts exposure (helpful but not essential).
Do’s and Don’ts

Do’s:

  • Arrive on time, in proper attire, and with a learner’s mindset.
  • Follow safety norms and demonstrate care while using equipment.
  • Encourage your peers and help foster team spirit.
  • Engage actively and support a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Show respect to trainers, fellow participants, and the art form.

Don’ts:
  • Do not act carelessly or disrupt training sessions.
  • Avoid disrespectful language or behavior.
  • Refrain from misusing training materials or deviating from your role.
  • Don’t interrupt or distract others without a valid reason.
